Bird Feeders

Introduction :

Food is the basic requirement of every organism on this earth born, so has its equal right on it. Also birds deserve it. A bottle of grains can fulfill the empty stomach of a starved creature. ACF attempts to feed these empty stomachs through the bottles.

If you have a garden and like to have birds flying in it a good idea is to place some feeders to attract them. You can make creative birds feeder using plastic bottles. One idea is using some wood spoons dovetailed in the bottle. Make small holes and insert the spoons by the cable side. Full the bottle with bird's food and let it slip in the spoon. You can also use chopsticks instead of wood spoons but the holes in the bottle must be bigger to make birds access to food easier. Now it is only hang the feeder in a tree and wait for the birds.

Step to Create Bird Feeder :

Make a bird feeder from a plastic bottle :

Water bottle bird feeder instructions

  1. - One plastic bottle with cap (works best with a round bottle e.g. Bisleri Water Bottle)
  2. - Two round sticks about 25cm long
  3. - A drawing pin and nail scissors for punching and cutting the holes in the bottle
  4. - Rope 45 to 50cm long

Steps :

  1. - Wash the plastic bottle properly.
  2. - To make the perches, use a drawing pin to punch 2 holes opposite each other near the bottom of the bottle and cut small holes with scissors.
  3. - Insert a round stick so that it passes through one hole, through the bottle, and out the other side. Repeat this to make the other perch just above the first (See our feeder image).
  4. - Now you are ready to make the feeding holes. Use a drawing pin and scissors to make a small hole about 3cm above each perch. Keep in mind that the seeds will just fall out if the holes are too big
  5. To make the hanger, nudge a hole in one side of the bottle neck and then the other.
  6. Thread the rope through the holes in the bottle neck and tie them together at the ends.
  7. Fill the feeder with Millet (Bajri or Jwari).
  8. Now your bird feeder is ready to feed birds. Hang the feeder to tree branch.
  9. you can put bird feeder in balcony
